LeBron James made quite the fashion statement Tuesday evening against the Denver Nuggets. For the NBA’s opening night, the Los Angeles Lakers star arrived at Ball Arena dressed head-to-toe in Louis Vuitton. King James and Louis Vuitton men’s creative director, Pharrell, posted the look on Instagram. In the caption, LeBron pointed out that the looks are a part of the fashion house’s Spring-Summer 2024 collection. According to High Snobiety, the four-time Finals champion is Pharrell’s second Louis Vuitton star, the other being Rihanna.

Browns' Myles Garrett Becomes Minority Partner of Cavaliers

Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett is now a minority partner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team confirmed Wednesday. In the release, the Cavs added that the defensive end will also serve as an official Cavaliers brand ambassador. A force on the gridiron, Garrett‘s love of basketball is evident, even suiting up in the celebrity game during the NBA’s 2022 All-Star Weekend in Cleveland. “I have admired the Cavaliers organization’s hard work, tenacity, and dedication to the community since my early days in Cleveland,” Garrett said. “To have the opportunity to join this impressive and purpose-filled franchise under Dan’s leadership is truly a dream come true.”

Lewis Hamilton Adds to Portfolio with New Non-alcoholic Tequila, Almave

Ahead of this weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix, seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton unveiled his latest business venture: Almave, a nonalcoholic spirit that tastes like tequila. Created from blue agave in Jalisco, Mexico, the beverage arrives in two expressions — Almave Ámbar for sipping and Almave Blanco for mixing. Almave Ámbar retails for $39.99 a bottle, and Almave Blanco retails for $35.99 a bottle.

Cardi B Headlines TikTok's First-ever Live Music Event

TikTok has certainly changed how we consume music over the last several years, and now the social media platform is making a bigger push into the industry by hosting its own festival. Set to headline “In the Mix” at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz., on Dec. 10 are Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta, and Charlie Puth. Select new musicians from TikTok’s emerging artist program — TikTok Elevate — will also take the stage after Cardi B and Co. Followers of the four headliners will receive presale codes to buy tickets starting on Oct. 27. The general sale will start on Nov. 2. TikTok plans to broadcast the event globally via TikTok LIVE.

Skechers is officially entering the basketball sneaker game, and the footwear brand is making its mark with the help of New York Knicks power forward Julis Randle and Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard Terance Mann. The first iteration of Skechers Basketball shoes launching next week include two distinct mid-top styles — SKX Resagrip and SKX FLOAT — silhouettes that fuse innovative technologies with the brand’s signature comfort. “Skechers is a great fit for me because I’m a competitive player and they have this same approach when it comes to their mission to make the best shoe on the court,” said Randle. Mann shared: “I love that Skechers is an LA-based brand. I can meet in person at any time to talk about the shoes and really partner with them. They’re giving me everything that I need, and I’m looking forward to competing in Skechers.”

AppleTV Raises Monthly Rate in Advance of Q3 Earnings Report

Apple is raising the prices of several of its services, including Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and Apple One. Apple TV+ is going from $6.99 per month to $9.99 per month. The change will be effective immediately for new customers and 30 days later for existing subscribers, according to Apple. The annual package will now cost $99, up from $69. Apple News and Apple Arcade were bumped up to $12.99 (up from $9.99) and $6.99 (up from $4.99), respectively, while Apple One’s Premier package will now set you back $37.95 a month. Apple joins several other streaming platforms that have raised their prices in 2023, including Max, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Paramount+.
