To say Kelsey Plum has lived up to expectations as a WNBA player would be an understatement. Here’s a list of what the Las Vegas Aces star has accomplished since being drafted first overall in 2017:

And those are just her WNBA accolades, leaving out all the records she broke on the NCAA level at Washington and the gold medal she won for Team USA in women’s 3v3 hoops at the 2020 Olympics. Plum is looking to add to this list, helping her team sit atop the Western Conference of the WNBA by a wide margin while averaging 18.7 points and 4.5 assists per game this season.

Just a week after earning WNBA All-Star Game MVP in 2022, the Aces signed their southpaw shooter to a two-year, $400,000 contract extension. At the time, Plum had one year remaining on a three-year, $423,250 contract she signed after playing out her entry-level deal.
Plum will turn 30 in the final year of this extension, but if she’s able to maintain the level of play she’s had over the last couple of seasons, it wouldn’t be surprising to see her cash in when she hits free agency in 2025.
