Artificial intelligence technology is on the rise, and Google’s latest innovation may ensure it remains a permanent piece of our everyday lives. The search platform announced on Thursday the launch of Search Generative Experience, or SGE, an experimental version of Search that integrates artificial intelligence answers directly into results. Rather than the typical search, which tallies a list of blue links, SGE uses AI to answer queries right on the Google Search webpage. Upon asking a question in Google Search, a green or blue box will expand with a novel answer generated by Google’s large language model, similar to what OpenAI‘s ChatGPT relies on. Currently, SGE isn’t open to the public and requires you to sign up to Google’s Search Labs.

Travis Scott may have a fourth studio album on the way, but the rapper has already teased plans for life after music. In an interview for the cover of Pin Up magazine, the “Sicko Mode” artist was asked to share a fact about himself in accordance with the letters of the alphabet. For “A,” Scott said, “Architecture is my true passion. I plan to apply to the architecture program at Harvard GSD [Graduate School Of Design] when I’m done with music, which won’t be for a while. It would be dope to do both at the same time.” In 2018, Scott first revealed those plans via a tweet, so it looks like that career path remains top of mind.

JP Morgan Chase is working on a ChatGPT-like service that leverages disruptive artificial intelligence to help pick customer investments. Per CNBC, the company applied to trademark a product called IndexGP this month, and hopes it will develop “cloud computing software using artificial intelligence” for “analyzing and selecting securities tailored to customer needs.” Other banks, including Goldman Sachs Group, Inc and Morgan Stanley, have already begun testing ChatGPT for internal use.

Fans might have to wait a little longer for the return of popular HBO drama “Euphoria,” which was originally slated to return for season 3 in 2024. Francesca Orsio, EVP of HBO Programming and Head of HBO Drama Series and Films, said the Emmy-winning program will now debut in 2025. “‘Euphoria’ is one of those that we had begun writing in tandem with post-production on ‘Idol’ but at this point, we don’t have countless scripts,” Orsi said, via Deadline. The ongoing writers strike appears to be the catalyst for the delay. In reference to another beloved drama airing its series finale on Sunday, Orsi assured there are no plans for a “Succession” season five, contrary to rumors swirling online. “No, not at this point now,” Orsi confirmed. “I know there was some talk about spinoffs, but no, not at all.”

Four players from the Detroit Lions have already been handed punishments for violating the NFL’s gambling policies, and now a possible fifth player could face repercussions. According to The Athletic’s Kalyn Kaler, the athlete in question is a prominent member of the NFC North franchise, though he was not named, as the investigation is ongoing. The current Lions players suspended indefinitely from football activities are C.J. Moore and Quintez Cephus. Stanley Berryhill and 2022 first-round draft pick Jameson Williams were handed six-game suspensions for allegedly gambling on college sports while in the team’s facilities.
